marked and do not have sticker on even one piece. I bought these from a lady at a yard sale, she said she paid $100, she didn't seem to care about them and it made my teeth clench when she stuck them in the plastic grocery bags as if they were Tupperware, so I took over putting them in the car.

Each time I find these somewhere on the internet the Geisha girls cameo is different and the china is differently glazed. I have not found them in the Pastels (tight purple, pink , light blue and shell pastel opalescent glaze colors). I seem to only see these in Grays and other dark colors. I don't know what the dragon pattern is put on with, can anyone tell me? It is raised, and to meal feels like hardened frosting (yes, like on a cake).

Oh and they all have gold painted on them , but specifically a gold swirl mark (looks like our American "e" in cursive to me.
Thanks for you help in advance!

Hi, this is really beautiful and I've never seen anything like it before but I'm having trouble understanding where the geisha picture is located (from the first picture) on the body of the teapot.... help please? Thanks.

OK Geez, my eyes are getting bad. I just realized I'm looking at different pieces not just one from several angles. Sorry, duh having a moment here.

thank you! I know I had never seen this before the day at the yard sale, and I don't collect this type of anything, but I liked it....
lol it's ok, I thought they would have been on each piece too, but only the tea cups and so detailed.

      Hi
These are still manufactured in 1950's. Look my photos i have marked set.
By the way don't drink anything from these cups, i have seen warnings that glazes can dissolve hazardous chemicals. Keep it as for decoration purpose only.

Joe, were they always just made for show or did people actually drink out of them when they were produced? Scary!
