This was my fathers as a child and I haven't been able to find out anything from books or the web for a couple of years now.It plays music and has a tiny record and needle setup inside the top with a speaker. It runs off of 2 C batteries and also moves. The company name is TOMY and it is from Japan.Any help would be greatly appreciated.Thank you.

Hi, I had this same exact tank given to me by my Dad. I'm now 48yrs old. The tank had a US Stars and Banner flag, turret with a metal barrel, and flashing red tip, which would light up to stimulate the gun firing. On the top of the turret, was a yellow button, which when pressed, would activate the music, I cannot remember what it sounded like, I've been searching on and off for one in good working condition, to no avail. Hope all this information helps.

Sorry, forgot to add, these tanks, by Tomy, were made in HongKong and Singapore.
