Over the weekend I went to a garage sale and found this 1880 clock. It has a couple condition issues but the price was affordable and I loved it anyway. I seem to have a home for misfit pieces that just need love.
Conditional issues......term used at my house "Well Loved". Nice clock
Your absolutely right kerry10456. I will borrow that description from you from now on!! Thank you!
oh heck yes dang right,..it deserves a goood spot as a survivor,..and with some tlc it will outlast all of us,..any restoration would just erase some years that make it just a cool thing to look at,..id just keep it dusted and keep the works clean n running,..great find!
Wonderfully put shawnicus. Thanks for your input. :)
You might consider using a little lemon oil & bees wax on the wood. Doesn't build up quickly. Easy to apply and will help to protect and conserve the finish. Very nice pick. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you Bruce99 for the advice. I will definitely do that. I appreciate you stopping by and for the love.

Jewels..Thank you for the love.
It certainly is a beautiful clock. I really Howard Beeswax Feed-N-Wax Wood polish. I use it on all of my wood furniture and to seal the canvas on my antique canvas covered trunks. Really love your clock. You did good!!
