Making digital copy's from CD with Sony DAT. Optic cable is not supported when making digital copy's so have to use analog(rca) wiring with 48khz sound quailty.
DAT system was very vulnerable from tape transport system, there is lot little rollers with tape system. Some cases tape is rolled in.
There is roller set upgrade available in internet.
I like that analog better but these are neat widget anyway.
    Thanks for watching ;)

Interesting how analog seems better. I read that vinyl sales now make up 17% of the music market, a big increase. It is more human somehow.
      Thanks for the post!

All kind digital music format replicates analog sound. In analog sound is purest form. When pressing(packing..mp3,atrac) sound smaller space we loose details of sound.
When you listen vinyls and then even cd you can notice metallic nyanses in voice, they don't are normal in music. Also when make remastered copy(even vinyl one)from old classic something is gone missing forever. It is not the same, they(studio) change tone levelling/dynamic range of music.
But i think there is no full analog sound prossesing anymore(analog recording, mastering...we have to go back in the 50's or 60's.
