I'm thinking this is the thing that was used to make the old knitted poodles hair "fluffy" looking.

I don't know what it's called and my new meds from the doc aren't helping, lol In fact, excuse any typos or for that matter, if what I type makes no sense, please understand, It's not intentional - gotta love those doctors!!! yea right!

Oh and this came with the pin cushion I posted but this one has the original box, so if anyone knows, that would be cool if you could share your knowledge.

EDIT: I didn't even say sizes! Box = 2 3/8" x 2 3/8" and the Nails might be copper, and the back is some kind of metal. Weight = 1/2 lb

How funny! I would have never known that. I thought it was used for knitting and even then thought it looked a bit sadistic!

I have something similar I'll post to see if it's the same.

Thanks for the info TallCakes and AmberRose.
And Sean, I won't be sitting on this any time soon, but I'll be happy to send it to you if you like! lol!!!

Vet, I looked up Ikebana etc, thank you for adding that. Those arrangements are amazing, I would have never guessed this piece was used for that! My next post is why I thought a yarn "shredder"?!?
