Hot car, which may not have been as "stylish" as the GM or Ford products, but it got the job done!

The Mopar vehicles were beasts…not so pretty, but oh so reliable, not to mention, fast!

I have always found the Mopars to be so much more appealing than the delicate looking offerings from the other manufacturers…..

      Love it!!

My Dad used to have 1967 Plymouth VIP (4 door) in kinda a metal-flake Brown. The VIP was for Luxury as advised by Plymouth. I think they had a kinda low production roll (if I recall correctly). Wish we still had it....LOL

It was Something like the images below:

Thanks AntiqueRose! Both for the love, and for the reference to the other Plymouth photos!

Yes, having the old car would be quite the thing…keep looking, maybe there is one out there looking for a new owner :)

We had a 63 Chrysler, which was as big as a boat…but it had a lot of power, and rode really smoothly! As I recall, it also had one of those "modern" Torqueflite push button trannies!

LOL....I remember the push button tranny buttons.....

I forget what kinda a car it was but it had like a fluid in the Speedometer to fill the bars up when you would speed ....it was not a dial type

Ha, ha….the gimmicks like the color changing speedometer were corny, but catchy!

I think that Pontiacs may have had that kind of Speedometer….Happy Motoring!

Love the old "muscle" cars!!! Isn't that a Ford Torino next to it??? I had a 73 k5 Blazer for 20yrs, drove it almost every day with the original engine and around 500k miles. It was a beast and I miss the heck out of it!!!
    21. Ted_Straub Ted_Straub, 10 years ago
Thank you, shareurpassion…for both the love and for your input. That is a Plymouth Roadrunner next to the GTX. That one is a wonderful car in all respects, too.

That Blazer served you well! I can see why you are missing it!

      Take care, Ted
