Can anyone tell me what this is?? This is a very interesting two in one liquor bottle I believe. I found this at an elderly ladies house, her husband passed away and he collected everything. She was going to throw it out so I told her I'd take it. It's roughly 14" in height.
One sees these sometimes & even today, but don't think they are real common.
Liqueur Galliano comes to mind. They were used some very collectable decanters to market their cordial.
I didn't see it when I searched Google images. I am trying to recall the liquers my parents may have had at that time. I'll let you know if something comes to me!
I don't drink liquor anymore , much to the relief of my friends, so no expert. I do see this type of bottles in stores sometimes, but not very often. Doubt it is anything rare.
Is there a Partition inside the Bottle to hold Two Liqueurs ?
I have one just like it. Paper label on bottle neck says
SOLE AGENTS FOR THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA
JULIUS WILE SONS AND CO. INC
NEW YORK
large round label on the side seam says
BENEDICTINE TWO COMPARTMENT BOTTLE B&B-D.O.M
CONTENTS 2 QUARTS.
mine has cork stoppers with a plastic twist on cap on top of that.
I have one similar to this as well. It says chianti scali and says it was imported by Wenz Industries Patterson N.J U.S.A. Don't know if yours is the same, but it's somewhere to start
