Mahogany Buffet / Sideboard (Total 58" high x 55" long x 21" wide)
with Scrollwork Mirror section 16" high and 3.5" x7" top shelf: visible mirror is 49" x 11.5"
Dark Scroll work around mirror and top drawer & two sides;
ca ?1875?; My great-great great grandmother's wedding gift (?) She was southern belle who married and then lived in Arcade NY (I am 60 yrs old)
Round doors with partial scrollwork on each side 26" x 9" (shelf & bottom roomy section)
Scrollwork on 4" x 36" top drawer -3 compartments with old velvet lining
7" x 36" drawer with two brass swinging handles
11" x 18" middle door - brass knob
8.5" legs - the two front ones have Carved feet;

These photo's show nothing in terms of construction or joinery but at least they are right side up. Speaking about picture #3 only ( I can see that close up) Chas F. and Buffalo would bring Charles F. Dow to mind. HOWEVER, he didn't actually make furniture, he sold it. He also wasn't in Buffalo the warehouse was where it shipped from. I believe he actually resided in New England and the furniture was probably made by a division of Loriston & Amsden. Possibly before or after that trade name as back then companies came and went quickly. They went out of business during the late 50's as I recall and the stencil on this would probably say late 40's into the 50's. Seeing some construction and joinery would be nice as well as a close up of the mirror glass. I could be all wet but that is my 2 cents worth.
