    These two Art piece's Measure 11" x7" Unknown Artist/material used for these and not a clue to the Material they are painted on. Appears to be like a heavy coated Type of paper or Material. Reminds me of bark used for a Tapa but a little stiffer. These have been own by me for about 15-20 Years. Gift from an African friend, of a friend. Any help would be appreciated.

      TA, I agree with the hide, after looking and reading up on this. And though it might have been a drum skin until I noticed the others weren't signed. Might be just a painting on hide, could have been done for tourist.

      Yes I'm sure it was done for tourists. I don't think yours are drum skins, that was just an example to show the style.
