Found this at a garage sale. Weighs about 5 pounds and about 22 inches long and little bigger that 1 inch in diameter. Two rings which appear to be joints have a white oxide. Bottom has a threaded interior. Any idea what this is from?
Believe Ripley206 is close, I think it's a "Mole"....pneumatic boring tool to run new service to house, works like a puenmatic hammer thant pushes through the ground leaving a tunnel behind it, once reaching it's target, removed from air hose and new serviceis pulled through the tunnel
