My wife bought new furniture, Smart TV and accoutrements and wanted Tangerine/Persimmon orange Antique Glass to decorate so I've been busy going to dealers near Montreal to find suitable items. I posted a tall vase separately and now I need help on this 6 1/4" by 5" unusual-shaped vase. It almost looks like it was made in two parts then fused together but when you feel on the inside, it is smooth. The marbling/clouding in the tangerine glass is mesmerizing; it is not cased glass. It has a recessed smooth base with a flat 1/4" underim with a lot of age wear. She likes this one the best. Any ideas on who made this beauty. Thanks, RER(BOB)
TallCakes came through again and found the exact information on it. I have changed my heading to include what he found. BOB
you really captured the beauty of this vase in these pics : ) Really don't know but reminded me of cloud glass. Here is one very similar by Davidson (2nd vase down) and also noted as available in orange. Really eye catching glass : )

Good Lord Tall Cakes!! This is it and it states that my Orange one was made between 1933-1935. You are a Sleuth and a Good One. BOB
you're nice pics show of the features of cloud glass very well. So having researched glass for 'several' years I recognize the 'cloud glass' appearance in the photos. And lucky for both of us that there was the matching Davidson example available online.

Quite impressive in Green too...I must say! Finding out that my vase was "Cloud Glass" reminded me that I had another Cloud Glass vase put away somewhere and I finally found it in my storage pile. I'll be uploading it tonight. I think that this one is by Walther & Sohne....it is unusual in shape. Thanks TallCakes! BOB
