    coke.trevo…
    (120 items)

Sorry I have not been keeping in touch really no excuse just been busy with new job. Managed to take some time and check out CW today and saw Dave's really cool coke collection. After checking out his pics it made me want to take some updated pictures of my collection.

It's sad to say but very soon I will be taking down all my signs. I have to find my own place to live and unsure if I will be able to keep such a large collection when I first move out. Hoping to keep my best signs other's I may have to let go or just keep in storage. I enjoy this hobby very much but now its requiring a large house which I will not have.

Thats the great thing about this site tho, I can upload pictures on here and enjoy seeing my collection for many years and others can too!

Congrats on new job Trevor, and at the same time sorry to hear you may have to downsize the collection. If storage is an option, hopefully it can be done. Your collection should be kept together if possible.
Your collection is on other Coke site, so be proud.
Good luck in your search for a place that makes you happy to call home.

(don't forget that spots for safe storage can be hidden in furniture)

Thanks very much CK4, I wish I could find a house as big as my parents house but time to spread my wings and find my own home even if I gotta start with an apartment :(

Sorry I dont mean any offence to anyone who lives in an apartment im just used to living out in the country and having huge two story farm house lol. Very pricey to heat in the winter but great having soo much room.

LOL thanks Ray! I'm 23 but yes time to find my own place. I have lots of friends and family that lives in the country so I'm sure I wont have problem finding homes for my collection. Im not suppose to promote selling on here but with the collection I got I'm sure a few signs will have to be sold lol. Hoping to keep all my vertical signs and just about all my 6 packs the rest of my collection are items im more willing to store at friends or family members houses.

If you guys see something you really like and wanna display proud for me let me know and maybe we can work something out.

Your collection looks better than ever Trev. I bet you could pack the walls and corners of a small apartment or house nicely for display. And what better pick up line is there than "Would you like to come back to my place to see my Coke collection?" He shoots... HE SCOOOOOOOOORES!!! ;0)

.......and suspend items from the ceiling! Lift bed on high platform for large items underneath. You will need stairs to get into bed though, and not a good idea to have a ceiling fan with a high bed.
      Yes, lots of options.

Love your collection Trevor, TGBWC is right, try to buy a home, my 1st place was a Trailer in a park, the trailer was my down payment for my 1st home and the seller held the mortgage for 5 years and then the Bank took over the mortgage, I then sold that place and got a better home and did that again and again...good luck on your future:<)

      !
Your collection would definitely make an excellent downpayment on a house Trev.
if you've bought well, get your money back out and start your next phase of life as a homeowner!
Maybe keep a few special pieces, and start looking forward to rebuilding the collection after you've made your millions in the realestate market!
      we've all been there Trev

@Trevor...Your rack all the way to the right...I'm looking at buying the same one right now. It's selling at an antique store in town on consignment. They are asking $350. It's in great shape, I would say near mint. Can I get your thoughts on the $350 ask? Thanks.

Thanks for all the comments guys! Ray thanks for the tips on small house much better than apartment. You had me lol when you said for wife or other partner Im not interested in men lol or a ball and chain hahaha! Currently living the single life and gotta say its not too bad compared to life with the nagging ex-girlfriend lol. I get to go to bars with my buddies, you know the fun ones most girlfriends never let there boyfriends go to lol.

Im still able to save money going to bars on weekend cause I dont drink so usually the DD. I try to save the money I would have spent for my future house.

Im hoping I dont have to sell too many signs to buy myself a house because I do really like my collection. I do however have a few items I know I could see myself letting go so it would help towards mortgage, but the rest will fill my house because whats the point of having a house if you dont have anything in it.

Sorry jpsthesecond, forgot to answer your question, 350$ for a display rack is pretty pricey I would say above retail IMO. I got about 200$ CAD invested in mine and pretty sure I have never paid more than 300$ CAD for any of my display racks. You would be surprised how often you will find coca cola display racks for sale, just wait for a better priced display rack and Im sure you wont regret it.
