    I need help figuring out who made this sewing machine & what date it was made. The only marks on it are the motor stamp shown in picture, the front label that reads Home Electric Deluxe, and what appears to be a serial number as B5033687A on a plate @ it's base. It sits in a case w/it's foot peddle.

      Yes, I checked the bottom & found a stamp "Japan" so it looks like the search for info ends there. Thank you for your time.

      While the majority of 'typical' badged Japanese machines were based on the Singer 15, this one seems to be a copy of the 99 and is probably 3/4 size - a little different to the usual finds.
