Mexican Jewelry or not????
I bought this bracelet in spite of better judgment. I liked the way it was finished: it looks and feels very well made and is smooth to the touch. There is some wear between the links but no brass or copper shines through. It is not magnetic either. I still have my doubts:
I have several other pieces of Mexican jewelry and the marks are very different from the ones on this bracelet. For that reason I fear it might not be what I think it is. I have seen two other bracelets on CW with the same mark and the same clasp. My question is: Is there any real Mexican jewelry out there marked only with "925" and "Mexico"?
Thanks for looking:)
Thanks a lot, aghcollect:)
Thanks so much for your comment, valentino97. I never pay much for my items unless I am absolutely sure they are worth it. If I know it's real and I really like it, I pay the asking price. So, no, I didn't pay much because I didn't think it was the real thing and I didn't like it too much either. I think I am more curious about the bracelet and use it to try to educate myself. I think that the next time I see something marked just with "925 / Mexico", I will pass.
I will try to take a better photo.
Once again, thanks so much for your comments:)

By the way, today I found this listing on e-bay. The bracelet seems identical to mine except for the mark. Mine says 925 Mexico while the one e-bay says 925 Taxco. I am still confused:(
