Extensive vintage china set I inherited from my dad, who grew up as part of a rather wealthy New Jersey family.
Copeland Spode porcelain, India Tree rust pattern (circa 1956, I think).
I don't think the pattern itself is that rare. However, there are so many pieces, and in rather good (albeit dirty) condition... I just can't help but wonder how valuable the whole collection might be.
:-)
It's a beautiful set, a dear old friend just passed away she was 89 yrs old...she gifted me 2 teacups 2 saucers and a beautiful oblong teapot same pattern like the one you inherited from your dad...the set belonged to her mum originally. I don't know how old it is but it's quite beautiful all the same.
