Found this old horse in a barn, their are no marking on it. I have looked for info everywhere and can't find anything. It never had pedals, all iron/metal with the exception of rubber that was around the wheels. You can see the seam on the 3rd pic, so I assume it was poured in a cast to produce 2 pieces. I am looking for any information regarding this beautiful horse. Would like to restore it for Christmas for grand baby.
Thank you, I have my suspicions of that as well. I have looked for just the carousel horse that would be similar and can't find one that comes close. The grand baby (2yrs old) loves to ride it and scoots all around.
Have found several identical to this, early 1920's era, pedals on front wheel with reins.
