Pat. F N.CO.1922 Shoe buckle & screw backed ear ring (or buckle)

These are Fishel, Nessler Co - F.N. Co pieces but both missing their pair. I found them in a mess of button's along with another piece I might add separate. The only information I found was the design layout and the actual Patent #1419034 from 1922 that shows it is a utility patent for ornamental coverings for shoe buttons. Im curiouse to know if anyone else has stumbled upon either of these and if they know more about the smaller piece as I am unsure if it is a shoe button or an ear ring (it has a screw back rather than a bar back like the larger piece)
