One of several Brunswick Mixer pins I own. this one has a very clean medallion with the Mixer logo. This pin was quite common as far as I can tell. The rear sanctioning imprint is a single-color blue eagle ABC stamp. See the other versions I've posted for comparison. Condition and sanctioning imprint suggests it's of more recent vintage in this type. About 15" x 4.5" in size and around a solid 3.5 pounds. These are heavy. One envisions a heavy bowling ball just plowing through the ten pins. However, slow motion video clearly shows that even a 16 pound ball gets nudged around when impacting pins. How well the ball cuts through is called "carry" in bowling parlance.
I have updated this posting to include a photo of a customized version of the stock Mixer pin. This one was custom imprinted for the Playdrome Recreation Centers. I have not researched the history of this establishment but will update again when I have more information. If anyone has any knowledge of the Playdrome, please feel free to comment.
