I bought this just a few weeks ago. It is a Sparton Radio and record player. It was purchased here in Longview, WA in 1945 from Schnieder Bros Hardware. It came with needles, manual and TUNG-SOL world radio log book. It was kept in wonderful condition. The condition of the wood is exceptional and patina of ornamental value. Although it was bought in 1945 it was manufactured between 1937 and 1938.

That is excellent. I thought it was odd that it was purchased in 1945 as they weren't making much during the war years. So being made from 1937-38 seems to make sense.
