Found this vase 13 1/2 x 5 1/2 cm a few years ago in a thrift store. At one point, was able to identify it using shape number and stamped mark but now I just cannot manage to recall. No notes, no nothing! Can any of you help me out ?

This is Czech, but could be one of a couple different makers. One possibility is Ditmar Urbach. Often called Chodovia, which I was trying to find more information on, but didn't have a lot of luck. Hopefully someone will know more.

      Hi fishiowa,

Your comments have been very helpful. I have looked up the two czech makers that you mentionned. Their work is very similar indeed but not quite the right shape.

I remember finding an identical piece on the Web using the shape number. If I am correct, it was a Zsolny ceramic. Does that make sense to you?

Warm thanks to the 6 lovers. You are great!
