Last night I was able to pick up these two items for $75 ($70 + $5). The bottle carrier is listed in Petretti's 12th edition guide for more than $300, but that one shows dividers and is in great condition. I am happy with my purchase because the exterior is good and the handle is there. I love the "wings" logo.
There is a slight crack in the wood handle, but a little (very little.........like a pin head drop) wood glue in a syringe should keep it from going any further.
I asked the guy how he got to own it, and he just said he's had it laying around for years.
The ice pick is one I have not seen before with the 'things go better with Coke' on it, so I now have it to go with the other picks. (not toothpicks or water pick)
Please excuse the ladder. Even though the ladder is red, it is not part of my Coke room. ;-)

The carrier is definitely a "must have" item, filled with bottles or empty this will look great on display in your Coke Room. Nice one. Might even clean up a little.
A lot of times I see the yellow carrier with such faded graphics you can barely see the logos. Maybe it's the FL humidity...Nice pickups.
Great find, those 1940's carriers are great when found with the red stamp still showing strong. I see many worn to the point you can't see much of the graphics. Some antique stores ask over $100 in really bad shape.

Now that Summer is about done, weekends will be free to work on the Coke room so I can finally have it in a presentable state.
On another note, I am finding it tough to deal for items that people are firm on their price because they paid too much for it, even though I show them the prices in the guide for the same item in better condition. Some are double! Oh well, as it is written, "another one will come along".

Very nice, I wish mine was a little closer to the condition of yours as I would have gladly paid the $70 you spent, Got mine cheaper but when you see mine you will figure out why. Very nice Cokekid-4
