I bought this... looks like candy dish at estate sale and need help with the mark. It is three sections and the lid fits on both the center piece and the top piece. It is 12 inch tall. It looks like H J G and has a rose under that. Has anyone seen this before? Thanks

I don't recognize the mark, but might it be possible that this is a marriage of parts, as the diamond pattern on the 'base' seems larger than on the jar. It 'may' be that the 'base/stand' piece would work as a candle pillar. The covered jar could be a cracker jar or candy jar. It's possibly just coincidence that the lid fits the base/pillar when turned upside-down.

I also have one of these bowls with a lid. I wanted to see if I could learn anything about it and found your post. My candy bowl with the lid looks just like your and also has the same bottom. I was going to give it away and now wonder if I should hang on to it?

I found my candy dish in Oak Harbor Ohio and wonder where you bought yours?

I have two of these type dishes with the same markings. I have not been able to find out anything about them but I would like to know the history behind them. They are very unusual pieces and I have thoroughly enjoyed them.

I found the exact three pieces. Love it. Do not seperate them.

not sure but looks like the pedestal piece would work as a candle pillar. See how the ball piece sits atop the pedestal with the pedestal reversed; might fit either way...
