Found this at an antique store for a good price and bought it as I love the solidness of it and the flower carvings. I don't have alot of info other than the store owner telling me it was from Lancaster PA and was about 80-100 years old. Its all peg and dovetail construction so I suspect its quality. I am not even sure what the wood is though it looks like it might be oak. I am thinking of refinishing it but don't know if its better to leave it as is or give it new life. Does anyone have any idea of the history/style of this?
