This is the Brunswick Max glow pin. Officially it is the Brunswick Crown Glow. The sister pin is the Stripes Glow. Pretty standard, pre-2005 pin as the WIBC/ABC sanctioning stamp and seal indicate. These were high volume commodity pins. I obtained a full case of ten of these and each pin had minor manufacturing tells and tweaks. For example, weight balancing inserts and excess plastic from the injection molding of the skin. I did not take a photo under UV light but the effect is pretty much identical to that of the Amflite II Glow stripes pin. Aside from the sanctioning, this pin is indistinguishable from the contemporary Brunswick Max USBC. Control weight and standard dimension of 15" x 4.5".

Ginseng I never knew bowling pins were so varied! Bowling is not big here in Oz .
And what's the story behind your avatar pic?

      Hi racer4four,
Bowling goes back in one form or another at least a century. Even in the modern sanctioned era, there is a tremendous diversity. Each approved pin design is given a permit number. The oldest I have is 5. The latest current design is permit #521, the Aloha Strike XT. And let's not even get into balls. No hope keeping all of that in order.
As for the avatar picture, I found that online a few years ago and as I was setting up my account here, I was looking for a suitable picture and it was basically the only bowling-oriented image I had. It's a bit surreal and I suppose it will have to serve until I can shoot a new photo for this site. Perhaps me under a mountain of pins?

If you could, please upload a picture of the USBC Approved Version of the Brunswick Max Standard Glow Bowling Pin. The collection for Brunswick Max will be completed :D

I will keep on the lookout for that one, ALV. Thanks!
