Vulcan Corporation Nyl-Tuf Supreme Bowling Pin

Here is a really nice specimen of another Vulcan Corporation tenpin bowling pin. This is the elegant Nyl-Tuf Supreme. I think this is one of the most straightforward and aesthetically pleasing conventional pin decoration styles. The medallion is a crisp and balanced diamond design that echoes the much older White Diamond solid wood pins. The rear sanctioning stamp is of standard eagle-on-filled in ball design, but the in used in the front and back are the same color. This provides an uncomplicated monochromatic scheme that is timeless. Had the twin rings on the neckband been the same color (either the same red or both black) the overall effect would have been a bit too static, too dull. But breaking the color blocking up by specifically making the lower ring black provides visual balance in the vertical/axial direction. Simple, clear, classic. Bowling pin decoration rarely gets much better than the Vulcan Nyl-Tuf Supreme. Mint condition as from the factory, control weight, standard dimensions.
