Can anyone tell me IF this is old? Looks older and has a carved design on the top. Not sure of the wood either?? Any ideas welcomed!! Thanks

Well it's not put together with staples, so it's probably more than 20.
Looks older to me.
The corner joints look old but the relief is a common style for probably pre 60's.
