This is a Roesler pierced basket of about 20 cm diameter 12 cm high. The third picture shows the impressed mark of Porzellan- und Feinsteingutfabrik Max Roesler (1894 until 1910) http://www.porcelainmarksandmore.com/germany/bavaria/rodach-01/index.php. The history of the industry is very interesting because of Max Roesler studies and the fact that 25% of the profits were share with the employees. This is an uncommon mold, shape number 5031, the number 2 most possibly refers to the size. The transfer of pink roses sprays is the most common to found in Roesler pierced items. A jugendstil, German Art Nouveau typical for a high tea dinner. The last picture was intended to show that the clay is pearl and not white like the bowl under the basket.
