    I have a 1951 Schwinn Racer bike. Serial number H061354. Bike is good condition and I would like to know the value of this item.

      Does the bike have coaster brakes?The handlebars have been changed and I'm wondering about the caliper brakes,I don't think they came out until the late 1950s or early 1960s.Still an early Schwinn frame is still worth a fw bucks to the right person,my guess is it's probably worth $100 or so.

      Sorry beau, but when I was yougn, yeah I know........., I had what we called, an 'english racer' that had hand brakes and a three speed on it, you had to stop pedaling to shift and the brakes wouldn't stop anything but they were fast..............skinny tires and fenders. Must have been abot 1950 or so..
