My old reverse painted glass opium snuff bottle ~

Found this and a few great other antiques at a yard sale about 10 yrs ago. the top looks like jade, but think it is glass. Unfortunately, the actual stopper is broken off clean in the very top of the bottle. The glass face on both sides has small defining panels that go around the main picture in a oval/round shape. The red, yellow and brown almost look like a part of the glass with the rooster scene painted one sign (symbol of prosperity?) and the hen scene on the other. The bottom of the bottle is indented with an imperfect oval and definitely glass. I was drawn to this bottle for its uniqueness.. I was just starting collecting and did not eve know what an opium snuff bottle was .. !! Thought I would share and am hoping to identify better.
