Found this vase at a yard sale ~ the woman I bought it from told me it belonged to her grandmother. It is handblown and swirled with little dotted intents between the top swirls -- 7 " high. I believe it is American art glass.. It does not look like Fenton . wondered about early Blenko but does not seem to fit.. I would love to be able to identify it.. Another one of my pieces I have done research and searched online trying to find one same or similar and have not found anything.. Would love to learn when and where it was made.. if anyone can help. I am not an expert .. just a novice who loves to research my collection buys and get it right..

Clevenger Brothers of S. Jersey made this style of glass in the 1930's-40's that copied old blown glass of the 1800's- early 1900's. I'm not saying that this is what it is but it's worth a look. RER

Thank you, so much Loumanal.. I will definitely follow up -- had not heard of Clevenger Brothers.. : )

They often folded the upper section of their rims and in this case crimped it. I have had small round bowls with this same treatment. BOB

That is exactly how this piece is.. I have been looking on their sites.. see lot of bottles.. and some vases.. but not close in enough to see crimped.. which mine definitely is.. :) Believing your expertise.. Just hoping to find at least one other exact sample.. Not even sure if that is realistic.. I seem to have a number of pieces I cannot match up exactly.. Thank you SO MUCH for your Help

Hi Sunfawn! I can't seem to be able to upload anything here at CW since a week ago. When I try to add photos , the CHOSE PHOTOS application no longer opens up. I have no idea what's going on with my computer. In any case, send me an eMail and I will provide you with documentation and a photo that everyone will be able to see. RER(BOB)
