    This is the barber bottle that started it all... I no longer have it in my collection, but back in the day (a few years ago), conventional wisdom was that it was a Victorian-era Loetz piece. Right now, I would have to say that the jury is out on who made them, but this bottle and the other two vases are all clearly from the same series.

    Any ideas are welcomed - my hunch again is Josephinenhütte or Fritz Heckert.

      I doubt Josephinenhütte could be the maker. Josephinenhütte started to produce bronze cypern (cobalt blue glass) in 1897 according to Stefania Zelasko. These vases look like early 1890ies to me. Also the execution of enamelling does not fit with the excellent quality of Josephinenhütte. Heckert would hve signed with F.H. in front of the production number. Nice mystery vases ...
