More Pins, More Fun - Brunswick Bowling Booklet 1961

Here are some scans from a 1961 Brunswick booklet issued to promote bowling. It uses the fictitious Martin family to provide guidance for bowling dress, shoes, etiquette, as well as operational aspects like scoring and dealing with various spares situations. This year's edition has guest appearances by Don Carter and Marion Ladewig, presumably two professional bowlers, giving tips and guidance.

I have included the table of contents for informational purposes in addition to the cover. One other page set shows the characters in interactive settings. Don and Marion pop in on the Martins while they're in the club lounge having coffee and pops before playing. Are they really a family? How can one tell? What are they thinking about? Are they looking forward to bowling? When the shoot is over and they part, will they miss each other, or will it all seem like it had been somebody else's daydream?
