    Hi all, this is my manger/nativity collection. I believe they are chalkware and paper mâché. Most are made in Italy and USA, but a few are from France and Japan. I can never resist them. Thanks for looking!

      Yes, I think the material its called "chalkware".
      I have one too and have old pieces. We do it under or next to the Christmas Tree.
      We called it "pesebre", the characters are adorables, full of love.
