thank you for commenting Riply206. i know its very easy to assume you have something special when you acquire something you've never seen before. i have found a few other signs on this sight that were built by the same manufacturer. there is a collector by the name rob78 that posted a picture of a go go dancing sign about a year ago on this sight. from what i have seen in my short time of researching this style of sign, it looks like it was made by a company called superior outdoor display inc. this business was around from 1958 until 1964 when they merged with another company and became gulf industries. once they became Gulf Ind. this style of sign seemed to vanish. In 2000 Gulf industries became signtronix and are still in business today. i plan on contacting them at some point this week and will post what i find. as far as i can tell the original founder of superior outdoor display ( Cozy Boren) is still alive and involved in signtronix.
