    Nice surviving example of store or apartment entryway mosaic tile work. This was taken on S. Main St. Wilkes-Barre, PA.

    I've always had an appreciation for this kind of thing….

      Thank you, PatSea! Yes, the old tiles are appealing. I think that tile setting is becoming a lost art.

      Many of the station walls of the New York Subway system have intricate, well executed tile designs.

      You must have a nice floor, with the tiles as described. The building itself was from a great architecture…I am sure that it's a real beauty!
