    another fun find, this is a vesta for matches, i would like to know the correct name for this particular one and i was given an approx age by the seller of 1918 but i am really not sure.

      Hi, This is a trick opening vesta match safe, generally made approx. 1890, these particular ones are interesting as they were passed around a gentlemans club and you would have to work out how to open. So, they lock, and sometimes if you shake them you can hear a small ball bearing inside that has to slot in the right hole so the top can be slid back. I hope this helps.
