I found these in a box in the attic. My mother had written Silk Cloth Dills on the outside.

These are no tags or other information with them.

I just want to try and find out information about them.

    Thanks.

They are called mask face dolls as the face is applied to front of cloth head . Many Companies made them and they also were available to buy just face and a pattern to make your own. Yours are in beautiful condition and appear to be factory made in around very late 40's to 50's . Some of the faces were covered in different material applied to a mask . I can't tell by photo the exact material used . They put a little bunch of mohair under bonnets that is such good condition I don't think they were ever played with . Mollye company made a lot of them but they were made by so many companies without a hang tag hard to tell who made them .
Here is just a example and also if you google mask face cloth doll you should see many :-) Very nice post !

I guess you should make the dolls Jewels :-) Just get a pattern . It would be to much work for me :-)) Much better if they are all done .

Thank you very much! Even my aunt who has a doll collection and used to make dolls... didn't know what they were.
