I went to the Westlake Historical Society's yard sale this morning. They held it last year as well and I like the fact that you pay by donation and nothing is priced. It was rather slim pickings though and all I could find was this unusual piece. It's a little 8 "x 10" glass panel mounted in a black velour covered frame. The glass is etched with two galleons in a harbor. It's also tinted with a few accent colors. There's no signatures or marks anywhere. The glass is an opaque parchment color and light will pass through it. Not quite stained glass but similar. The glass on the back is full of bubbles and imperfections. The frame doesn't look old at all, so I really don't know about the glass panel. Couldn't find anything like it online. Not even sure what to call this technique, but it's rather interesting. -Mike-
