    This is a toy I love It is a 1930s roy cox race car with motor and gas tin.I bought this from my friend bruce about 8 years ago may e longer.I love my old toys.The tin I got from another friend he said he was taking any toxic cans To a place that would dispose of them .When I say this can I was so excited.I said I will dispose of this one.I did too Right in my collection with my roy cox car.The charcole sketch I did when I was younger.

      Had one of these as a lad, lots of fun.................if I not mistaken there are points on the other side for a wire bridle to attach to a line to a nail in the asphalt so it would go in a giant (20') circle......

      this is from the 30s? geez this is in GRRRRRRRRRRRRREAT condition. seriously. you have a lot of old cool toys (i guess that hences the name toyman).

      See here is the 1930 roy cox smooth tires and motor in rear.Yours has nobby tires and from 50s no motor

      This was made in the fifties, search ebay: Thimble-Drome gas powered cars. Its looks nice, but there really not that rare. They also made a non powered version.

      Today i was at a auction Found Roy Cox thimble drome special no. 62 lite red good shape just like the one have. what are they worth Looks like you use a pull rope to start on mine right rear. Thanks jim
