Looking for assistance identifying the maker and approximate manufacture date of this unusual ceramic bowl, which I found at an estate sale. It looks like it must be vintage but looks brand new, as in never used. I can't find anything like it on ebay or elsewhere on the internet.
Measurements: 8 inches diameter at top of bowl, 5 inches high, weight 1150 grams (2 lb, 8 oz).
On the bottom is imprinted what looks to me like a P over and connected to an M. On the internet I have found quite a few vintage Porzellanfabrik Moschendorf items with the P over and sort of connected to the M, but all these marks are inside a wreath and topped by a crown, so I don't know if this could be the same manufacturer. Also, the Moschendorf pieces I'm finding are nothing like this bowl.
very beautiful, and never seen this before!!
Yes, it's really cool - a little weird with those bumps, but cool. In my mind it must be 1950s but I have no idea. Hoping someone knows about it.
so do I ,ive never seen this before!!
