    Hello

I am a new but avid fan of Omega watches, and when this piece came up for auction recently I pounced on it! It is about to be shipped down to me but before it arrives I thought I might do a little research on what its history was. A day later I cannot find and I can find nothing similar to this 9ct gold mechanical winding gentlemans wristwatch. Do any of you of you collectors know what it is, or have I committed a spectacular boo boo?

From looking at the relatively large sub-second indicator, this could be a late 40s/early 50s 15 jewels hand wind watch. You need to see the movement to find out if it is by OMEGA.

Thank you for your help. I guess I am going to have to wait to get it in my paws to open it up and see if it is an Omega. I will let you know!
