This nice little cabinet vase was acquired in a trade with a friend, and it's quite a gem. Production number unknown, but it appears to be a smaller version of PN II-1/884 (ca. 1901) It's about 9 cm tall, with strong iridescence. The ground is candia (clear, not orange). Mold blown - four part mold lines are visible, as with most diaspora pieces (see photo 3). Fire polished rim, ground and polished pontil. The true color(lessness) of the glass can be seen looking down from the top and bottom.
beautiful!! almost looks like a strawbery!!
Beautiful iridescence!
