I hope someone can please help id this set of strange looking sculptures, all hand carved, both has a small hole I assume for hanging, one look like it has an ax on the back, the other one has a hollow holder in the top of head, look like for maybe holding pipes,I don't know,I can't find out nothing on the net, measure 17" and 17 1/2",I got them about 15 years ago at an old estate sale.

Maybe Aztec!!The ancient Aztecs expressed religious ideas and concepts through their crafts. Ancient Aztec ceramics, wood carvings, masks and drums are adorned with images of warriors and animals, many of which represented Aztec god. Southamerican is another option, maybe from Colombia!!
