I really like this salvos coffee table. It's really heavy and the timber is teak. It looks scandinavian. The tiles have imprints on them and appear to have been made especially for the round top as they are not cut on the sides. They had this at $90. The top of my opshop budget but looks good.

Nice find. Curious about the dimensions.

Its 85cm wide and 50cm high. So it's a decent size coffee table. Very heavy.
The teak is made up segments to make the round edge. I've seen lots of tiled tables but this one looked like it was expensive in its day.

Thanks. So difficult to tell from photos sometimes, it looked like it was over one meter in diameter. Is your home in the background of photo 2 because this table looks like it was made for that house?

Yes, my house is mudbrick. Very rustic. Modern things look out of place so I go for a retro/eclectic/primitive look. Definitely not minimalist.
