I did not post anything last week but we bought several small objects to Pablo, the biggest dealer of antiques in Còrdoba. He must leave one of the two shops because the hiring price of one of them has risen too much so he is doing a big sale. This is the rarest biscuit I had ever since. I do not know what these characters represents. I think it is german because of the numbers in the base, third picture, an possible the mark was where is one of the wholes. Are they a sardonic representation of some political characters? The resolution of the whole piece is marvelous. Any idea about the origin, maker or the characters is welcome. The figure is about 20 cm high. He makes me think of my granfather, the father of my mother, he was polish and arrived to Còrdoba after the first big war and before the second. The second character is she or he?
VERY BEAUTIFUL!!
The characters are so wonderfully modelled !
