These spoons are all over 100yrs old !!
The two guilded apostle spoons are from 1873 , the victorian era, theyre roughly 8.5" L with 2.5" bowls & made by HH , they are extremely good quality and as you can see need a clean !! :-)
The other is a Dognose rat tail spoon from 1698 & is the oldest piece I have !! This one 6.5" L and quite heavy for the size , it is hallmarked with the Britania mark , lions head erased and you can just make out the letter C with a line running through it , the maker mark is rubbed so unreadable which is a shame...
I always wonder what this spoon has seen and been through in its lifetime !! William 111 was king then so over 300 years ago ..
times have changed loads but the spoon has been virtually the same design for hundreds & hundreds of years .. (why change something that works)..
I hope you like these as much as I do ;-)))

To easy we sort of do all over the board also I just wish I thought of a lot of things a lot earlier in life. The things I let go not realising what they were. We all learn or grow in all sorts of ways as we get older, that's how we learn.
