I found this tool in an old welding shop that has been used as storage for an antique shop for several years. It was in a large barrel of hammers. The head was originally painted grey. The handle markings are not original although the handle is. Hammer weighs over 1 1/2 pounds Handle measures overall nearly 13 inches. Head is 4 1/2 inches long. Striking end 1 5/8 inches diameter. The only markings I have found are CX-19038. I have no idea what function this tool has.

It reminds me of a tire changing hammer with the rubber face missing
