I bought this at a carboot for only £1. I was drawn to it's pearly/shell colours and it's movement. The fish is wiggly, as in it has separate sections of metal that are hooked together to allow the fish to be wiggly and move. The mouth opens bottles with its sharp metal edge and hook. All in all I was fascinated by this- Although not sure whether it's an antique.. definitely one of my favourite things added to my collectables. Im not sure what material the pearly stuff is that scales the fish but it does look and feel like shell? The lady I bought it from said that she bought it in Cape Town i believe. But don't quote me on that! Anyway, this is just one of my most exciting bargains and I can't wait to share more on here! Thanks :)
