This post to explain how antique wristwatches were before changing band for more modern one.
No indication of maker (dial have been restore as was!) either on movement or case...
The case is hinged, and the movement exactly fitted comes apart.
You put on the watch as a bangle and adjust the band with the slide then snap the closure !
It is very difficult to find originals ribbons of the exact width.
They were silk moire, the closiest are medal ribbons...
I got a nice silver nouveau wristwatch recently. I'm hoping I can get it restored.
