After my mother passed, I was given some of her jewelry. One piece is a sterling bracelet with the stamp of Raffaele Sterling as seen in the photo. My jeweler looked at it, but doensn't know anything about vintage or antique jewelry, but said that he would charge an "arm and a leg" to make something with as much detail. It is 5 connected bouquets of roses that make a bracelet. He also said that it is extraordinarily heavy (84.5 grams of sterling). I can't seem to find any information about this company or the maker. Not even sure how old it is. My mother got it from her mother (my grandmother) and that is all I know. Any information about this company would be appreciated.
Thank you
Several items posted on the internet say this was a Canadian jeweler circa 1930's-1950's - Can you post a picture of the complete item?
Aghcollect...I have put additional photos in my original post. ANy info you can provide would be greatly appreciated.
Very pretty and definitely the same style - google "raffaele sterling" and check the images to get a good idea of the range in values. - unfortunately, silver prices have dropped drastically in the last few months so that value is greatly reduced.
